Introduction

The CAT question paper involves 100 questions in MCQ form with subjects including Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.

Content of CAT exam

There are mainly three subjects that the students need to prepare, the content will come from the middle school topics of Maths, and English with some generic logical reasoning questions. The detail course content includes:

CAT Quantitative Aptitude: Some of the CAT quantitative aptitude course content includes topics from class 8-10 like geometry, algebra, number system, etc.

CAT Admission Process

CAT exam result will be announced on January 7, 2020 and once the results have being announced, IIMs will start announcing the shortlisted candidates on the basis of CAT scores and other parameters.

There will be a Group discussion and personal interview for the individuals who have who cleared the final round as well, will be invited for admission during the months of April/May 2020 by IIMs

CAT Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate appearing for the exam should have a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized board or university. 5% relaxation is given to SC, ST and other backward classes.

Or

• The candidate must have completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage

Or

• Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification or awaiting result are also eligible to appear for CAT exam 2019
