UGC NET Psychology Course

The UGC NET psychology Test will consist of two papers, both the papers will be objective type questions and have to be attempted within a gap of 30 minutes between them.

Paper I will have 50 question carrying two marks each, and will be generic in nature checking the teaching/research aptitude of the candidate.

The main aim of taking this exam is to test reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking and general awareness of the individuals who are appearing for the exam. Paper II will consist of 100 questions with each carrying 2 marks, all the question are compulsory.

UGC NET Psychology Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to complete their Masters’ Degree or Equivalent Degree within the following percentage criteria –

• For General Category individuals, they need to have at least 55% Marks
• For ST/SC/OBC/PWD/Transgenders – 50% Marks
• The age of the general aspirants should not be more than 30 years.
• Those aspirants who are studying Master’s Degree or equivalent exam or the ones who have appeared in the final year exam of their PG degree are also eligible to apply for this UGC NET psychology Exam.
