Eligibility
Post-graduation in economics with 55% for general candidates and 50% for OBC/ST/SC/PWD/Transgender.
Age Limit
- For JRF-30 years for general category, and upto 5 years of age relaxation in other categories.
- No age limit for lectureship.
. Exam Pattern
- The exam is conducted by NTA on behalf of UGC.
- UGC NET is conducted two times a year( June and December)
The exam has two papers:
Paper 1: will be of 50 marks.
Syllabus will remain same for all the candidates irrespective of their subjects.
Paper 2: will be of 100 marks.
According to the subject that candidates have chosen.
- The exam will be conducted online.
- Three hours will be allotted for the exam.
- No negative marking.
